'March to Your Own Beat' is the last photograph created for the Portfolio: Los Angeles, In Master Pieces, 2019. This image was captured around 6pm in downtown Los Angeles. Returning to the Westin Bonaventure Hotel, where Paige and I were staying, there was concern of insufficient light to photograph, while hand holding the camera. The low light challenges were overcome and Paige chose this image as one of her favorites. This photograph has a fantastic sense of rhythm. The exciting conglomeration of light effects look and feel like musical notes, thus the title: 'March to Your Own Beat'. The photograph location is approaching the Flower St. entrance to the Westin Bonaventure Hotel, which is the only entrance we used. It was an easy walk from the Blue Line Elevators. Wonderful hotel, great people!
